Our core program. Children work with concrete Montessori materials at their own pace, guided by lessons based on ability rather than age. Master a lesson and move on; need more time and you get it.
Sayreville Project Before Public Preschool
Our partnership with the Sayreville public preschool program, delivered in the same warm classrooms with the same experienced faculty your family already knows.
Before & After Care
Extended care on both ends of the day so the school schedule works with your working schedule, with the same familiar faces your child sees all day long.

Families who found their place here
I knew instantly that this would be the perfect fit for our family, so much so that I cried happy tears in the parking lot. After my child’s first year here, I can tell you I was right. My son had such a wonderful experience and I could see how much he prospered. Ms. Carmen went above and beyond to make my child comfortable, and me too. She runs an amazing school and I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
The Peace Rose staff makes this progressive learning environment feel as safe and nurturing as a one-room schoolhouse of long ago. The teachers spend individual, personalized time with each student. If you are looking for a special environment where your child’s unique learning ability is recognized and cultivated, look no further.

What parents ask us first
What ages do you accept?
We welcome children from infancy through kindergarten. Our inquiry form lets you tell us your child’s age so we can point you to the right classroom and let you know what is currently available.
What actually makes Montessori different?
Children learn concepts using concrete materials they can touch, feel and see, which leads to far deeper understanding. Lessons are based on ability rather than age. A precocious child keeps moving forward, and a child who needs more time repeats the lesson or tries another approach without ever feeling behind.
Do you offer before and after care?
Yes. Extended care is available on both ends of the day, with the same familiar teachers your child sees during class hours.
How do I arrange a visit?
Fill out the inquiry form on this page and we will contact you to arrange a tour at a time that suits your family. You will meet the team, see the classrooms in action and get your questions answered in person.
Do you accept childcare subsidies?
We do participate in subsidized childcare programs. Mention it on the inquiry form and we will walk you through what applies to your family.
